JINGLE PAY AND MASTERCARD TO ADVOCATE FINANCIAL INCLUSION THROUGH COLLAB
Dubai-based financial service provider, Jingle Pay, has enlisted the services of Mastercard in serving audiences with digital payment solutions and pushing for financial inclusion.
This partnership with Mastercard will give Jingle Pay
customers the opportunity to benefit from Mastercard’s merchants as well as roll
out of bank cards both virtual and physical. The latter will give people the
means to make transactions without an account. Jingle Pay users will have their
cards connected to “spending accounts”, offering easy ways of using money.
Founder
and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jingle Pay, Amir Fardghassemi, said:
“Jingle Pay is changing how users access financial services quickly and easily.
We are committed to extending digital financial services to the world's
underserved population to improve security and equality. Our partnership with
Mastercard furthers our cause of financial inclusion. It builds on our unique remittance
and money transfer capabilities, offering users more powerful and easier ways
of spending their funds from the Jingle Pay mobile application.”
“We are delighted to join forces with Jingle Pay
as we harness the power of innovation and technology in our efforts to connect
1 billion people to the digital economy by 2025,” says Cluster General Manager,
MENA East, Mastercard, J.K. Khalil. “Fintechs like Jingle Pay are playing a
vital role in supporting the UAE's digital transformation journey, and this
partnership will further ensure that more people can enjoy the safety and
convenience of digital payments as we work towards inclusion for all.”
The
nearly 2 million “unbanked” individuals as reported by UAE Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority forms
parts of the targets of this partnership. Jingle Pay provides transactional
services to communities trying to embrace new fintech. Their collaboration will
make transactions easier and bring people into the banking ecosystem.
