FLUTTERWAVE ENLISTS ENAIRA AS PAYMENT OPTION FOR NIGERIA

 

Payment technology establishment, Flutterwave, says that merchants are allowed to accept eNaira as part of payment option by customer on their platform in Nigeria. This will be an addition to the already existing means of payment options available to users.

The digital currency was approved by Nigeria’s Central Bank as a means of making electronic payments. Thus, anyone registered on the eNaira platform can make payment with Flutterwave with that option.

Currently operating in various markets across Africa, Europe, and North America, the electronic payment platform secures transactions for businesses in over 150 listed currencies, the Naira and eNaira included. They proide “technology, infrastructure, and services to enable global businesses, payment service providers and Pan-African banks to accept and process payments on any channel (Web, Mobile, ATM & POS).”
