NETWORK INTERNATIONAL, INFOBIP TO PRESENT WHATSAPP FOR BUSINESS BANKING SERVICES TO AFRICAN CUSTOMERS

 


Digital payment provider, Network International has partnered with global communication service provider, Infobip to introduce to financial institutions in Africa WhatsApp for Business banking services. The agreement is said to help financial institutions connect to customers using a dependable source while delivering “world-class support and seamless services in a personal, timely, and reliable manner.”

From their release, the service speaks to helping individuals control their financial situations more quickly and safely using their chatbot technology. This will permit banks to use WhatsApp as a means of reaching customers easily.

Helping financial institutions reach customers through a secure and familiar app is in line with our goal to increase and improve digital banking services across the continent to improve financial inclusion.”, said Group Managing Director – Processing for Network International, Hany Fekry.

Regional Head of Partnerships Sales at Infobip, Hana Bilbeisi expressed delight in the partnership with Network International. She went on to say the move is to empower “individuals and communities through technology and communication is one of our key values at Infobip.
