VERIZON BUSINESS AND WIPRO JOIN HANDS TO FAST TRACK NAAS PROVISION
Verizon Business, a subsidiary of Verizon Communications Inc., has entered into a partnership with technology service company, Wipro Ltd, to offer Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) for improve network and cloud processes for businesses.
The collaboration by
these two tech companies will provide “pre-configured and tested service chains”
using model where businesses subscribe to get access to their feed. This, they
state, will serve the communications interests of all stakeholders involved.
This also facilitate Wipro’s customer
data transition method from legacy systems (computer hardware, applications etc.) to “automated,
self-healing, and highly secure network service environment”.
“Many
organizations want to get out of endless technology refresh cycles but they
face the twin challenges of traditional hardware and fixed infrastructures. Our
partnership with Wipro will enable businesses to future-proof their network in
a manner that is more flexible, agile and predictive, centered around their
specific needs,” says Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Revenue Officer
(CEO) for Global Enterprise and Public Sector, Verizon Business, Massimo
Peselli.
Also,
Senior Vice President (SVP) & Global Head of Cloud and Infrastructure
Services, Wipro Limited, Jo Debecker, also explained: “Our joint NaaS offering
brings together two industry leaders to drive this unique value proposition
that will help our customers keep pace with changing demands of the cloud and
network infrastructure while achieving operational efficiencies and agility at
scale.”
