RACKSPACE: SHASHANK SAMANT REVEALED AS LEAD DIRECTOR OF BOARD

Multi-cloud technology solutions company, Rackspace Technology, is announcing the selection of Shashank Samant to the company’s board as its Lead Director.

This comes after being selected to serve on the board since October, 2021, based on the exhibition of skill, knowledge, and expertise, along with experience, in technology.  

“…I am pleased that I can now count on his more active engagement in shaping the Rackspace story as the Lead Director for our Board. Shashank is a dynamic, seasoned executive who specializes in the Digital Technology Services business and the cloud market. The entire Company will benefit from his increased focus and broad experience in Cloud and Digital businesses,” said Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rackspace Technology, Amar Maletira

Furthermore, the media release states that Mr. Samant will make an investment of up to 2.5 million dollars into the stocks of the tech company.

Mr. Samant has worked and served in various notable positions within his over thirty-year run in the field of technology. His recent position is the President and Chief Executive Officer Hitachi Group subsidiary, GlobalLogic Inc. He also had stints with Citicorp Overseas Software Ltd, International Business Machines (IBM), Hewlett-Packard and suchlike. He attained certification from Savitribai Phule Pune University.

IBM JOINS HANDS WITH RAPIDUS TO ADVANCE CHIPMAKING IN JAPAN
