NORA DENZEL ASSUMES POSITION OF LEAD INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR AS JOHN CALDWELL RETIRES
According to the board, Nora Denzel, will take over from
Mr. Caldwell after his sixteen-year service with the board of AMD.
Mr. Caldwell was the chairman of the board between 2016
and 2022, and earlier this year, served in the position of lead independent
director among other positions.

and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Advanced Micro Devices, Lisa Su said “On behalf of the AMD board of directors, I

we wish him the best in his retirement. I am pleased that Nora has agreed to
become our lead independent director. Her breadth of technical and business
experience and the strong role she has played since joining the board make Nora
ideally suited for the position.”
Nora Denzel has been on the AMD board since March 2014.
She carries a weight of experience from previous high-ranking positions in Intuit,
Hewlett Packard, IBM and suchlike. Apart from AMD, she also serves on the board
of NortonLifeLock, SUSE Linux, and Ericsson. She is also on the National
Association of Corporate Directors in Washington, D.C.
