NALA TECHNOLOGIES AND SAUDI EXCELLENCE COMPANY SIGN DEAL FOR FIRST EVER AI FOOD SERVICES RUN IN SAUDI ARABIA

AI robotics firm, Nala Technologies, has made an agreement with Tech establishment, Saudi Excellence Company, to develop and incorporate the use of AI robots for autonomous food services in Saudi Arabia.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between both parties at the Global AI summit 2022 will afford both companies the opportunity to present AI solutions to food service and delivery. This also includes their plan to establish “the country's first fully autonomous eatery” dealing in Saudi and Middle Eastern cuisine.

General Manager of the Asia Pacific region for Nala Robotics, Balaji Koneru, expressed delight in working with the Saudi tech company that had significant experience.

“Saudi Arabia is an important international trade route connecting Asia, Europe and Africa continents. Our collaboration will help Nala Robotics maximize the strategic geographic position and grow our business across the Middle East and North Africa region.”, he said.

“The focus of our collaboration is to bring the latest AI robotics technology to the food service sector throughout Saudi Arabia and beyond,” said Chief Innovation Advisor at Saudi Excellence Company, Omar Mian. "By leveraging both of our company's strengths in technology innovation, we will be able to further revolutionize the country' culinary industry while creating new opportunities for entrepreneurial endeavors and enhanced job fulfillment and growth."

With Nala Technologies running AI robotics on a restaurant-as-a-service (RaaS) platform, they look to integrate robotics into the culinary industry to offer industry centered solutions and revolutionize the nature of cooking.  Aside from its main objective, the partnership will further fulfill other objectives as set out by the involved parties.
