CONTERRA NETWORKS EXPANDS SERVICE IN BOWIE COUNTY

Fiber broadband service provider, Conterra Networks, says they will continue to invest in the setup and growth of fiber networks in Bowie County. 

An estimated $12.6 million will be added to the initial allocation of $9.5 million within a five-year period. This forms part of the Conterra Networks’ plan to invest and expand their reach to various communities in the United States, thus expanding their network infrastructure.

President and Chief Executive Officer of Conterra Networks, Craig Gunderson said: “We continue to prioritize the communities we serve by investing in local network infrastructure. This investment is critical to the growth in Bowie County. With the ever-increasing business connectivity requirements, we are always committed to enabling limitless communications opportunities for our customers by providing access to custom-designed, ultra-high-capacity broadband networks.”

The firm boasts of a one hundred percent fiber network with consistent service and fast network speeds of up to 10Gbps as well as a reliable network.

Conterra Networks has started these projects in other areas such as Union County, Calcasieu Parish and Smith County. They also state that the network is currently available to 3,209 businesses in Bowie County.
