VMWARE AND NETAPP CONTNUES GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP, COMMITS TO HELPING BUSINESS VIA MULTI-CLOUD
Cloud computing software company, VMware, says they will continue to partner with NetApp, a data cloud service provider, to further aid customers in reducing cost and dealing with workloads in multi-cloud environments.
According the announcement at VMware Explore 2022 at San
Francisco, their partnership of 20 years has supported about 20,000 customers to
accelerate all round performance for “traditional and new modern applications,
and simplify daily operations through new integrations between VMware and
NetApp data management infrastructure.”
Chief Executive Officer for VMware, Raghu Raghuram, says:
“At this stage it’s clear: Multi-cloud is the model we’re going to rely on for
many years to come. It is the de facto operating model for the digital era,
giving customers the freedom required to build, deploy, and manage applications
in the way that best suits their business requirements.”
He added that with the continued partnership, they will
make available the options that multi-cloud has to offer to grow businesses.
“By delivering powerful new solutions that help companies
optimize their virtual data centers, modernize their applications, and provide
cost-efficient, enterprise-class data management services to VMware Cloud, we
can meet customers anywhere they are on their cloud journey.", said Chief
Executive Officer at NetApp, George Kurian.
Again, at the event, it was stated that their focus was
on cost-effective & seamless migration to multi-cloud, accelerating modernized
applications using Kubernetes/Containers, and optimizing the data center through
modernized infrastructure.
A survey by the International Data Corporation on the multi-cloud
environment says that VMware and NetApp are bridging the gap by alleviating
difficulties that organizations face in managing workloads among other tasks.
