SELF SERVICE REPAIR EXTENDS TO MW MACBOOK MODELS
Tech company, Apple Inc, has extended the availability of its Self Service Repair to MacBook Air and MacBook Pro devices with the M1 range of chipsets.
In this regard, customers will be able to get user-friendly
tools and knowledge on how to repair their Apple devices themselves instead of
taking them to a store for repairs.
As per a media release, Apple Inc will make its repair
kit available from August 23, which can be bought or rented at forty-nine
dollars per one-time use.
“Every genuine Apple part is designed and engineered for
each product, and goes through extensive testing to ensure the highest quality,
safety, and reliability. Customers can send replaced parts back to Apple for
refurbishment and recycling, and in many cases receive credit of their purchase
by doing so.”
Apple first introduced the Self Service Repair for
iPhones in April of this year as a way to ensure convenience in repairing their
devices. It is set to further expand this to other locations, starting from
Europe, as well as for other MacBook models within the year.
