ORACLE TO CONTINUE PARTNERSHIP WITH AT&T AFTER NEW FIVE-YEAR SIGNING
Oracle, a cloud management service provider, has further extended its agreement with telecom and IT provider, AT&T, to improve the latter’s database functionality and workload running on Oracle’s cloud management system.
This five-year
extension will develop on AT&T’s use of Oracle’s services: Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Oracle Fusion Cloud Customer Experience (CX), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and suchlike.
Senior Vice President of Information technology at
AT&T, Jon Summers, indicates
that Oracle’s cloud has been effective in the running of their day-to-day. He
expresses excitement over the continuous partnership his firm shares with
Oracle.
Executive Vice
President, Strategic Clients Group at Oracle, Jonathan Tikochinsky made these
comments, “AT&T is continually reinventing itself to
better connect people and businesses, and we’re proud to extend our partnership
to support that connectivity. By using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle
Fusion Applications, AT&T is able to continue scaling globally and adapting
to the evolving telecommunications market.”
Oracle and AT&T started their collaboration in 2017 when most of AT&T’s databases transitioned to Oracle’s cloud. Thus, the continuation of this partnership will bring about a positive impact in the years to come.
