KWIK SETS UP KWIKSTORE TO AID IN E-COMMERCE IN AFRICA

Delivery service start-up, Kwik, has launched its online store, Kwikstore, to help vendors connect and do business with online audiences. This serves as an addition to various initiatives by the firm to enhance digital services in Africa.

A media release indicates that the online store/ site is made for “any African business owner, merchant, social vendor entrepreneurs and SMEs to create their own online stores literally in 5 minutes without any technical knowledge and to run his or her business directly from a smart phone.”

Again, the online store presents options for connection to social media accounts among other functions to help the vendor monitor “sales and marketing” of their product(s). It is an in-built feature within the Kwik Delivery application, with its benefits, but also gives customers the freedom of choice in selecting delivery services of their own.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Romain Poirot-Lellig, expressed content over the patronage of their services in running and growing businesses online. He continued: “We will continue to expand our offer of innovative digital services focused on enabling African merchant to grow their business with all the benefits that technology brings.”

Cofounder and Chief Tech Officer, Olivier Derock revealed his happiness for the development of the online software in Nigeria and their commitment to continually build the country’s development capacity.     

Kwik was founded in 2018 and serves as a delivery service that covers Nigeria. They look forward to expand to other large West African cities and solve logistics and transportation issues using technology.
